'Drummer Boy' Adam
The ‘Drummer Boy’ started playing drums age 10 after deciding that piano and trombone weren’t nearly loud enough. An soon after, while his friends were still swapping football stickers, he began his gigging career and quickly got hooked on performing.
At age 15 he performed in front of a 15,000 strong audience and realised that was where he wanted to stay! Since then he has worked relentlessly as a musician, and a few years achieved a first class honours degree in jazz, popular and commercial music. He naturally progressed onto music production, leading to producing a full-length album for eegluu:productions. The next step didn’t take long; he was soon after offered a position by one of the country's top recording studios, where he remains.
Adam is one-fifth of the eegluu:records' band, mamacoca.
Graham 'Speedo' Sinclair
With a bass playing dad and Led Zeppelin loving mom, ‘Speedo’ was raised on a solid diet of ‘low end’ even before birth. It took another 15 years to reach the far end of the instrument but a band soon formed with brother Adam and friend Peter Shoulder. Within 6 months they had hit the pubs to become local blues legends. Speedo left for University and used the time to hone his chops before returning to Newcastle. Although still trying to escape prog/classic rock and grunge tendencies, he now manages to list the likes of James Brown, the Meters and Jill Scott alongside Free, Zeppelin, Skunk Anansie as influences.
Graham is one-fifth of the eegluu:records' band, mamacoca.
Edward Carr B.Mus (Hons)
Guitar-man ‘Edd’ has a first class degree in Jazz, majoring in performance. He is active as a performer playing in theatre shows, with DJs, function bands, and numerous vocal and instrumental ensembles. He is the musical director for the 8-piece soul/function band 'Soul Reason'. Edward works as a guitar teacher both privately and in schools.
“Not every musician gets a chance to be in a band where you have such a creative set of players/composers around you all of the time. We have great relationship but ultimately, I’m in it for the music and that keeps getting better and better!”
Edd is one-fifth of the eegluu:records' band, mamacoca.
James Peacock
James aka ‘Jay-P’ started learning piano at 7, and began playing in church bands at 12. He continued to take on a few small time bands in his teens, on keys, bass, drums and guitar amongst other instruments! At 16, he was already working as a sound engineer for dance/theatre group Dependance, and played the Green Festival and Belgium Rhythm and Blues Festival to crowds of thousands. More recently, Jay-P performed on lead keys for a major theatre show, ‘The King and I’; he has been active with his jazz combo band, jp jazz trio/quartet, playing local gigs to national ones, including the North East Business Awards ceremony in London. To top it off, he was headhunted to record with Simon Leng, and was produced by a crew of George Harrison’s and Madonna’s fame; the single is due for release shortly.
Jay-P is currently studying a jazz honours degree and teaches part time, and is one-fifth the eegluu:records' band, mamacoca.

Ric 'Richter Scale' Moore
Richard Moore, a 5-string fretless player, a graduate of the school of funk metal, and former singer/songwriter/producer in Cambridge-band Soul Factor 2, slaps, picks and taps his way through the set causing untold alarm in seismic monitors around the world.
A very long time away from live performance, he's back not with a bang but more of a minor earthquake playing with the coolest crew in the North East!
His influences include Jaco, Myung, Wobble and Berlin. His other ambition is to complete a bass-driven ambient album for the late night chill-out set. And then retire to a beach house in Maui.

Wall of Appreciation
Over the past 3 great years, we have had the pleasure of working with some of the best musicians from the North East of England, and to them we owe a debt of gratitude; our doors are always open for you:
Hannah Taylor
Hannah Taylor works as a freelance singer and vocal tutor in the North East.
After flexing her singer-songwriter talents in the Barnsley folk scene, she moved to Newcastle a few years ago and gained a Ba Hons in Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music at Newcastle College.
Her musical experiences include backing-vocalist work for Yorkshire-based singer/songwriter Maria Lynch and, impressively, singing alongside Sting at Newcastle Civic Centre and Metro Radio Arena in 2004.
She also fronts the small jazz ensemble, Jazz Puddin', and is a member of a local all female choir, Smokin' Sisters.

James 'Jimbo' Dawson
As Elvis died in 1977, Jimbo 'fingers' was born. No quiff, no jump suit, no guitar and a pretty poor attempt at the pelvic swing but boy, can he play the keys!
Still deciding if he should be a musician or carry on with a real job like everyone else, and ignoring every bit of classical training that he has ever had, the inner child has again surfaced and allowed him to rock out once more, whilst reminiscing missed opportunities of gigging in the 80's with big rock hair!
Still, he remains one of the few pianists in the world to have been head-hunted and commissioned to perform previously unpublished works by Benjamin Britten.

Neil 'Toots' Perry
Influenced by David Sanborn & Edgar Winter, he instinctively makes the saxophone & flute sing to the tunes of R&B, Soul, Funk and Drum & Base, covering the full vociferously boisterous-sweetly serene spectrum with ease.
Having played with heavyweights of the likes of Richie Havens & Eric Burdon, he is one of the most in-demand musicians around gracing countless stages, backstages, tour vehicles and changing rooms and has a collective audience the size of Barbados.
More often than not, one would find him honoured on credit lists of musos of all backgrounds. And yet all he wants to do is play. A true original.

Sean Ben
Eight years seemed an impossibly short time to attain skills and proficiencies at the level Sean functions - we called him our 'fret-master'.
Few guitarists would ever come close to determination and subsequent prowess he is able to muster at a hint of a challenge - say he can't play it, and he will, in minutes, and with panache!
With idols Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde as firmly-etched beatable aspirations, he has since graduated the highly acclaimed Guitar-X of London as a stepping stone to realise his growing potential as an all-rounder guitarist & songwriter.
Sarah Ffrench
Ffrenchie, also known as Sarah Ffrench, is a native of the Republic of Ireland.
Her love of music began at six via the piano, then discovered her singing voice in her early teens. She grew tirelessly from strength to strength and now finds herself at Newcastle College completing a degree in Jazz, Pop and Commercial Music.
Drawing a wide range of influence from Billie Holiday to Tori Amos, her versatile yet original flair is most sought after by numerous, not least, by her current company.
